We all like to feel good, we all like a compliment and we all want to move forward in our lives; that feeling of feeling good is one of the most important factors we have, it’s why we Like videos of cute animals and children, it’s why we raise money for charity, why we get emotional over touching music, why we love our family and appreciate good friends, because it's both mentally and emotionally positive and gives us the motivation to develop and harmonise in euphoria.
So how does this feeling we have get passed around onto others? Compliments and gestures of course…
See if you give someone a hug when they’re upset, if you pass on good advice, do something as simple as compliment something about them, for example identifying and complimenting their kindness or praising something they’ve achieved, you are passing on a movement of good hope, this feeling we are talking about.
After all, we are human…
We don't all look like Channing Tatum or Beyonce, we don't all have swag or everything a girl or lad wants in this materialistic day of life, as Baz Lurhman says; your chances are half chance, just like everyone else's.
You will never be superhuman or have abilities like the Genie from Aladdin, we are all matter with the same capabilities.
If someone seems strange or quiet to you, it's most likely that person has been through more sh** than you and can't be arsed with arseholes or high school ballshit, you're lucky to meet that person if you get to on a deep level.
Forget anything that makes you waste minutes of your life without any benefit, learn guitar or, grow a business or learn how to love better.
Look back on your life and think if you've actually made a difference, to you, anyone you've known or will know for the rest of your life, because if it's minimal or none then it needs to change, because memories and teaching, well ...are the two best things in the world when it comes to legacy! So here in this blog I talk about 2 key things, the first is to be considerate, do well to others, be helpful, kind and always pay it forward! The other is to take all the crap out of your life, all the waste that makes no sense or doesn’t benefit yours or anyone else’s life in anyway, make it the best it can be and help others to do the same, this is the only way we will truly succeed as the human race.
Agreed you should take time out for yourself to be with your own thoughts and re-adapt to realities, but at the same time there needs to be a healthy portion of both. You don't win in life by making yourself feel good, you win in life by making other people feel good as making yourself feel good dies only with yourself and leaves nothing. However you will find that making other people feel good will make you feel the same, because of knowing you made a difference in someone’s life no matter how small.
Life's too small for ballsh**, and ballsh** is too small for you, so exceed yourself and act on the things that matter.
So do it right now, send a text, a Facebook message, a tweet, make a phone call or better yet tell someone in person, give them a compliment, congratulate them or tell them how you genuinely appreciate everything they do for you. Better yet, make it a goal to do this at least once a day and every time you do, carry that feeling, take it with you everywhere and define yourself as a good person.
I appreciate that you've taken the time to take in my thoughts, you're obviously a good person deep down if you are willing to read them.
Please Like and Share this to allow me to pay it further forward.
All the best to all!
